ITENERARY
Departing from Mandjar Bay, this 3-hour tour will cruise through the Mandurah Estuary Channel visiting Soldiers Cove, Samphire Cove, Creery Wetlands and Islands. Along here you'll learn about these internationally significant wetlands and spot local wildlife - including wetland birds and dolphins, with the help of your expert guides. Scopes and binoculars will be set up on on board but please bring your own if you have any.

Around 4pm, the tour will arrive at Mandurah Quays for a short land experience and opportunity to stretch your legs. Here you will divide into two groups for:

  • a cultural talk and wetlands bush tucker tasting (30 mins), and
  • a bird identification and count session - with the scopes and binoculars (30 mins)

Back on board at ~5:15pm, the cruise will make its way back along the wetlands and towards the sunset, where you'll hear updates of projects happening around the estuary, enjoy a digeridoo performance by George Walley and taste canapes and local produce by Mandurah Cruises chefs.

If you BYO mug, you may help yourself to complimentary tea, coffee and juice aboard.

You can also purchase local wine/beers and soft beverages over the licensed bar aboard.

This project is supported by Peel-Harvey Catchment Council.

Please note: This is not a Dolphin & Scenic Canal Cruise - it is for those interested in the science and culture our Ramsar Listed Wetlands.
