The Wild Seafood Experience is a 3.5-hour seafood lunch cruise from Mandurah. You’ll head out into the open ocean with our crew, help pull up to six lobster pots, then sit down to eight courses cooked on deck by our chef, with Howard Park wines and WA craft beers poured throughout.

Mandurah is the only place in Western Australia where you can dine on Western Rock Lobster while still aboard the fishing vessel that caught it. This fishery was the first in the world to be certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council, back in 2000.

You'll be served an exquisite 8-course menu of local seafood and fresh local ingredients, designed by WA chef Tony Howell and cooked on deck by our chef. Take in stunning views as you sip on complimentary free flowing premium beverages, poured as you cruise. Spot dolphins and diverse birdlife as you cruise through Mandurah's luxury canals and picturesque inland waterways.

We are proud to operate in Mandurah’s waters, home to around 90 resident wild dolphins. Here, we give you a hands-on experience of fishing for one of Australia’s most delicious and sustainable seafoods – Western Rock Lobster. Learn about these amazing creatures and see how the fishery is managed as you haul in the pots together.   

Your Catch & Dine Experience
The tour commences with a welcome drink and canape on arrival. Enjoy the first 3 courses as you breathe in fresh air, while relaxing on one of 2 decks.

Join in the excitement of lobster fishing, before we cruise Mandurah's calm inland waterways. Expect to be mesmerised by Mandurah's natural beauty from the most breathtaking vantage point there is, floating on water.

Enjoy seated white tablecloth dining for main courses, paired with Howard Park wines and WA craft beers.

INCLUSIONS
Our Wild Seafood Experience is an all-inclusive experience, unique to Mandurah Cruises. Your package includes: 

• Cruising on board our purpose-built premium charter boat, The Reel Affair II. Features a large open lower deck, an upper viewing deck and spacious interior cabin with full kitchen facilities.
• Small group experience, with a maximum of 24 guests on a vessel built for 46.  
• Fun and interactive fishing for our fresh western rock lobster lunch, with the help of experienced crew, hauling up to six lobster pots. See how many lobsters you can haul in. Learn about these animals, from the world’s first fishery to be certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council.
• Private chef on deck, with live action of a fresh seafood barbecue / open kitchen.
• Enjoy an 8-course deluxe seafood banquet, showcasing our wonderful local cuisine, including your Western Rock Lobster served three ways, plus fresh-caught sustainable Australian seafood delicacies, such as Abrolhos Scallops or North West Tiger Prawns.
  
• Relaxed, stylish dining with white linen tablecloths and full crew service.  
• Complimentary beverages, including premium still and sparkling Howard Park wines, local beers from WA's most iconic breweries, as well as international beer brands plus soft drinks.
• Expert commentary and guidance by Mandurah Cruises’ experienced crew.  
• Opportunity to relax onboard and enjoy breathtaking coastal scenery while cruising Mandurah’s waterways and canals lined with luxury homes, keeping an eye out for dolphins.

*** IMPORTANT NOTE ***
All guests must be able to move around the vessel independently and safely. This includes boarding via a narrow, slightly angled ramp, handling small steps or walkways and a ladder style stair case with handrails to access the upper deck. As the vessel is on open ocean, guests must be able to stay upright on moving water without assistance (we do not go out in unsafe conditions, but passing vessels can cause wake). If you’re unsure whether this is suitable for you or your group, please call our booking office on 08 9581 1242.

Your choice of premium beverages are served complimentary throughout your cruise. Enjoy still and sparkling Howard Park wines, boutique beers, plus soft drinks and non-alcoholic choices.

* Naturally, we follow responsible service of alcohol requirements for our guests’ safety.  

Special Dietary Requirements
We can cater for gluten-free, dairy-free and non-seafood diets – please note this in the ‘Special Requirements’ section of your booking – however, as we are a boat with limited cooking facilities, we cannot vary the menu a great deal. We are very sorry that we cannot take bookings from guests with anaphylactic allergies, given our small cooking conditions, cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. 

At least 72 hours’ notice is required for any special requirements. Notification of food intolerances on the day is unlikely to be able to be accommodated, as logistics are planned in advance. 

CRUISE DEPARTURE LOCATION
This cruise departs from Stingray Point Jetty which is located behind the Sebel Hotel Mandurah or alternatively you can enter 14 Vivaldi Drive, Mandurah WA 6210 into your Google Maps. Our booking office and gift shop is a 5 minute walk from here.

No smoking is permitted onboard any of Mandurah Cruises’ vessels or on the departure jetty. All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions which can be found on our website.
